Glenwood is located the Gila forest in western New Mexico, near the Arizona border. We expect for the highs to be in the 60’s and the lows to be in the mid 30s, a warm coat is suggested.
Glenwood is located in the Gila National Forest, which is home to the Cosmic Campgrounds Dark Sky Sanctuary. One of 14 International Dark Sky Association certified areas. We understand that it is a remote location and hope that you will be able to join us in our union. We hope that once you see the night sky you’ll understand our choosing.
Our location is about four hours from the airports listed above, please keep that in mind when planning your trip. It is advised to fly into a major airport the day before the events start.
While the location is in the United States we are trying to keep in mind that it is indeed a remote location and are trying to plan accordingly. One thing we are suggesting to our out of state guests, is to arrive to the airport of your choice and try flying out of a different airport to see a little more of New Mexico.
